For nearly a year now, I’ve designed and led courses on writing poetry with Writing Workshops, an online writing school that offers á la carte workshops, seminars, and mentorships to emerging writers who want to hone their craft, network, or prepare for publication.

In January 2024, I’ll be teaching one of my favorite workshops, “Finding Healing Through Poetry.” In preparation for the course, writing workshops sat down to interview me about my experience with writing poetry as a way of healing, and my inspiration behind the course’s design.
