My presentation on my doctoral project went well last week! I was expecting only 4 or 5 people to come out for my talk (I’m including my partner and my friends in this group!)–but instead professors from all over the school of A & H were in the audience. The Q & A session afterward was incredibly productive and many of the questions asked gave me some new leads within my research, including potential audiences for this work that I hadn’t previously considered. The University of Texas at Dallas has been a wonderfully supportive and nurturing environment. I’m so thankful to be here.
